Plain language summary

AskAnton.com is operated by RESG Inc. We use the website to answer real estate questions, generate and follow up with leads, arrange appointments, connect people with services, and create videos, articles and other content. This is a commercial service. RESG Inc and affiliated businesses may benefit financially from resulting business.

We collect inquiries and chat messages, combine relevant information with public and commercial data, and use staff, automated systems and AI providers to develop responses, marketing and content. Information may be shared with service providers, the brokerage, affiliated businesses and other recipients as described below.

Some uses require a choice or authorization when you submit information, subscribe, book or join a recorded appointment. Where you authorize content reuse at submission, that permission can cover later uses within its stated scope without another request each time. Public stories, quotations, documents and recordings have different implications; the notice and permission for the particular use matter. Simply opening a webpage does not establish every required permission.

AI answers and beta features can fail. Check important information before acting and avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information. Privacy questions and requests: info@askanton.com.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

RESG Inc operates AskAnton.com. Anton Stetner and RESG provide licensed real estate brokerage services through NWRE LLC. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to RESG Inc's operation of AskAnton.com, not every independent business to whom we may introduce you.

This policy covers AskAnton.com, its connected inquiry and appointment services, and the AskAnton newsletter. We may share information with affiliated businesses for the purposes described here, subject to applicable choices and requirements. Those relationships may provide a monetary benefit to RESG Inc, Anton Stetner or related businesses.

This policy does not replace separate notices, brokerage duties or agreements that apply when you engage a brokerage, lender or other professional. A business handling information for its own purposes may have its own privacy notice.

In this policy, personal information means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to a person or household, including relevant contact details, identifiers and inferences associated with them. Specific legal definitions and rights can differ by jurisdiction. Removing a name alone does not necessarily make information anonymous.

2. Information you provide

Depending on your interaction with us, we collect:

• Name, email address and phone number when supplied.
• Questions, chats, emails, service requests and follow-up communications.
• Property addresses, listing links, characteristics, ownership or transaction context, preferred locations and property types, goals and timing.
• General budget and financing-readiness information. An ordinary website inquiry is not a mortgage application or credit decision.
• For career inquiries, interests in agent/broker or staff work, relevant experience or strengths, stated licensing stage, timing, questions and contact details when supplied. A general expression of interest does not require a résumé or private employment documents.
• Photographs, plans and documents submitted through an available upload feature.
• Appointment details, service history, staff notes and, with the required notice and consent, phone or video recordings and transcripts.
• Subscription preferences, permissions, consent records, communication opt-outs and privacy requests.

Review your submission before sending it. Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, identity documents, payment-card details, bank credentials, detailed financial records, medical or health records, diagnoses, or unnecessary information about protected personal characteristics through public chat or ordinary uploads. Remove unrelated personal information from property documents where practical. Only submit another person's information or materials when you have authority to do so.

You may still ask about accessibility, reasonable accommodation, fair housing rights or a discrimination concern. Describe the housing need or concern without unnecessary medical details; contact us if a more appropriate channel is needed. This warning does not limit those rights.

If we identify unnecessary sensitive information, our goal is to restrict its use and delete or redact it where appropriate. We cannot guarantee detection of every sensitive detail or immediate removal from every system, connected service or backup. Required records and legal holds may affect deletion. Contact us promptly about an accidental submission. This limitation does not excuse obligations that apply to the information.

3. Information from website operation and other sources

Our website and providers may collect IP addresses, browser and device details, page requests, referral sources, timestamps, cookie identifiers, interactions, errors and security events. Cookies and similar technologies support functionality, preferences, analytics and advertising as described in Section 8.

We may supplement, correct, append and associate inquiry information with additional information to better understand a person, property, opportunity or service need. Sources may include public property and ownership records, listing and other property sources, professionals, commercial databases, paid data and append services, aggregators, purchased lists, and information collected through permitted automated public-record retrieval or scraping. Relevant enrichment may occur for individual inquiries and during follow-up.

We use sources where we have the necessary access and usage rights and where collection and use are permitted. Availability online or for purchase does not authorize every use. Source information and our inferences can be incomplete or inaccurate; contact us about a correction. Enrichment does not itself establish newsletter, text-message or public-content permission.

4. How we use information

We use information for the following business purposes, subject to the permissions, choices and requirements applicable to each use:

• Answer questions, understand needs, assess opportunities and coordinate requested services.
• Review career expressions of interest and coordinate recruiting conversations and manual team follow-up.
• Generate, qualify, route and follow up with leads; arrange appointments; and support conversion into client or business relationships.
• Research properties and supplement inquiry information with relevant data.
• Coordinate introductions with the brokerage, affiliated businesses and other service recipients.
• Send newsletters, offers, educational content and marketing through email, text, calls and other selected channels.
• Analyze interactions, improve service and create articles, videos, FAQs, examples and other content under Section 5.
• Use AI and automation for responses, summaries, analysis and content development, and to improve workflows, organizational memory and our knowledge base for better service, lead generation and lead conversion.
• Measure performance and support advertising and retargeting.
• Maintain records, honor preferences, protect the service and meet applicable obligations.

Our commercial purposes are explicit. Communication channels and content permissions are explained at the relevant interaction. This policy does not replace a required consent, a provider's subscription requirements or a person's existing opt-out.

5. Chat, AI assistance and content use

AI answers and limitations

The website assistant is automated. Chat messages are recorded and may be reviewed by authorized staff and processed by AI and other providers. An AI answer may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. A human may not have reviewed it before you receive it.

To the extent permitted by law, AskAnton.com, RESG Inc, Anton Stetner and affiliated businesses make no warranties, representations or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, currency or suitability of AI answers or other information provided through the website or related follow-up marketing. Our goal is useful, accurate and current information, but AI can produce errors, unexpected behavior and problems that have not yet been identified.

General website content is provided for educational, informational and entertainment purposes. Verify material facts with appropriate professionals before making decisions. These statements do not change the nature of an actual professional service, eliminate brokerage duties or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. The Terms explain applicable service limitations.

AI may extract or summarize property files for staff. Our intended process includes staff review before passing conclusions from that file review to you. This does not mean every chatbot answer receives human review first.

Providers and processing

Our intended AI tools include models we run on our own local equipment, services from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google/Gemini and xAI/Grok accessed through subscription accounts, including OAuth-connected access, and APIs. We may also use models accessed through OpenRouter, including selected free routes. Locally run models are distinct from free services hosted by another provider. Tools may change. Processing can include prompts, conversation context, documents and generated responses relevant to the task. Account type, product, settings, endpoint and contract affect storage, human review and model-training uses; OAuth describes an access method, not a separate privacy guarantee.

We do not control all underlying models and cannot promise identical privacy, deletion or retention terms across providers. We must still select appropriate services and settings for the information involved. A local model is not necessarily an entirely local workflow if connected tools receive data. Information about enabled services and purposes will be maintained with our provider and cookie information.

Content, organizational memory and knowledge

We analyze interactions for questions, needs, examples and ideas for content, marketing and service improvement. We use relevant information and reviewed lessons to develop organizational memory and a knowledge base, improve workflows and follow-up, and support better lead generation, lead conversion and content production. This process uses existing AI models to work with information; it is not a project to train or fine-tune a model on visitor records. Provider handling is addressed separately above.

Content authorization can be requested at the initial submission, with an explanation of the material and uses covered, so that a new request is not needed for each later use within that authorization.

Where necessary rights and permissions have been obtained, authorized uses may include editing or publishing stories, quotations, images, submitted documents, conversation excerpts or complete conversations, and using appropriate material for internal analysis and knowledge development. Permission for one purpose does not automatically cover every other purpose or another person's rights. Relevant submission terms describe the license and scope; this policy describes personal-information handling.

We aim to remove unnecessary identifying details from material intended to be de-identified. Names, addresses, distinctive property facts and circumstances may still make someone recognizable, and we cannot guarantee that all personal identifiers can or will be removed. This limitation does not authorize publishing confidential or sensitive information without the necessary rights and permissions. Public release of raw conversations requires appropriate authorization and handling, not simply a record that someone visited the website.

Public material may be copied or retained by others. Internal memory and knowledge records remain subject to their applicable retention and privacy requirements; storing information there does not by itself authorize keeping every original conversation indefinitely. We explain material limitations when requesting relevant authorization and address applicable privacy requests under Section 11.

6. Who receives information and beta operation

Information may be disclosed to:

• Authorized staff and brokerage personnel who respond, supervise, support the service or handle transactions.
• Service providers supporting hosting, chat, customer records, scheduling, communications, newsletters, AI, file processing, analytics, advertising, security and preferences.
• Affiliated businesses and service recipients, including relevant real estate professionals, lenders, builders, contractors, buyers or investors, for introductions, service coordination and permitted marketing. Required recipient disclosures and permissions apply; every introduction does not require an entire private record.
• Named affiliated service businesses: RESG Homes LLC for new construction and land development, and Northwest Escrow LLC for title and escrow services. We may share relevant inquiries with these businesses for the purposes described here, subject to applicable permissions and disclosures.
• Public audiences, for content released under the rights and permissions in Section 5.
• Legal and protective recipients, where required or permitted to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse or resolve disputes.
• Business transaction participants, if our business or relevant assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale or similar transaction, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

Some recipients act independently under their own notices and agreements. Paid distribution, advertising-related sharing and affiliate marketing can trigger additional obligations depending on the facts and applicable law. Compensation disclosure does not settle those obligations by itself.

RESG Inc determines the purposes of its AskAnton processing. Providers performing tasks on our behalf receive information for those tasks under the applicable arrangements. A brokerage, lender, affiliated business or advertising provider may also determine purposes for its own processing; a recipient is not necessarily acting only on our instructions. The role depends on the activity and arrangement, not simply whether we call the recipient a partner or affiliate.

During beta we invite a small group to try the website, but it may be publicly accessible and other visitors may use it. Features may be incomplete, unavailable or unreliable, and nothing is guaranteed to work as expected. Use beta features at your own risk to the extent permitted by law. Beta status does not remove privacy duties or grant access to private staff systems and other people's records.

7. Commissions, referrals and affiliated businesses

RESG Inc has an ownership interest in RESG Homes LLC, which provides new construction and land development services, and Northwest Escrow LLC, which provides title and escrow services. RESG Inc may receive a financial benefit when these businesses provide services. These entities are distinct from RESG Inc, the website operator, and NWRE LLC, the brokerage.

Anton Stetner, RESG, RESG Inc., and/or NWRE LLC or other involved businesses may receive real estate commissions or other lawful compensation connected with services and transactions. We may have referral, ownership or affiliated-business relationships that provide a financial benefit.

Applicable relationships and compensation are addressed in the relevant brokerage, referral, affiliated-business and transaction disclosures and agreements. Not every introduction is paid. This policy does not authorize prohibited payments, replace required transaction disclosures or require you to use an affiliated provider. Sharing remains subject to the purposes, choices and requirements described here.

8. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our selected beta technology includes cookies and similar tools for website operation, CloseBot interactions, privacy preferences, Google Analytics and Google Ads/PPC measurement. Meta advertising and pixel-based retargeting are planned for a later version and are not part of the beta configuration. We will update our notices and controls before enabling them. Advertising services may associate website activity or browser/device identifiers with information they hold to measure campaigns and deliver or personalize advertising.

These operational, analytics, conversion-measurement and advertising functions are part of our beta service as well as later versions, subject to applicable privacy choices. Beta use is not excluded from these collection and measurement purposes.

Our provider and cookie information will identify enabled services, purposes, information involved and available controls. The core categories are necessary website functions, preferences, analytics, and advertising. Newsletter pages and email services may have their own measurement and preference controls.

Where consent is required, optional tracking must wait for the relevant choice. Where applicable law provides an opt-out from sale, sharing or targeted advertising, we provide the required mechanism and handle applicable recognized preference signals. Browser settings can restrict cookies, although blocking technologies may affect features and does not necessarily remove previously collected information.

We do not send raw chats, private files, medical information or direct contact details in ordinary pageview or analytics event fields. Any separately configured advertising audience or conversion-data feature requires appropriate disclosure, permissions and provider controls. Contact info@askanton.com about privacy choices. The live website must provide applicable working preference controls alongside this policy.

See Cookies & Tracking for the enabled technology inventory and Your Privacy Choices for cookie preferences and broader advertising requests. We honor Global Privacy Control where required by applicable law. It is different from a browser's ordinary Do Not Track setting. Cookie choices generally concern that browser; they do not automatically unsubscribe you from communications or erase an existing record. Clearing browser storage or changing devices may require you to set choices again, while applicable recognized signals must still be honored.

9. Email, newsletters, texts, calls and appointment recording

We use supplied contact details to respond to inquiries, coordinate appointments and provide relevant follow-up. We also use selected channels for newsletters, offers and marketing by RESG Inc and disclosed affiliated businesses, subject to subscription and consent requirements for each channel. Beehiiv supports the AskAnton newsletter. When you affirmatively choose newsletter signup during your initial inquiry or through a subscription form, we enroll you using that permission; we do not ask again for each ordinary newsletter message within that subscription. Newsletter selection is optional and is not prechecked during inquiry submission.

For marketing texts or calls requiring consent, the intake notice identifies the sender and communication type and obtains necessary authorization. Where required, marketing agreement is not a condition of buying a service. An inquiry, newsletter subscription or public-content permission does not automatically supply every telephone or text-message consent.

Unsubscribe from newsletters using the message link. For texts, use the provided opt-out instructions, such as STOP where supported, or contact us. Tell us if you do not want marketing calls. We keep appropriate suppression information so record cleanup does not restart unwanted messages. Service communications follow the request and applicable requirements; marketing is not relabeled as service to bypass an opt-out.

Phone and video appointments may be recorded and transcribed for follow-up, supervision, staff coaching, workflow improvement and authorized content purposes. We give required notice and obtain required consent before recording private communications; this policy alone is not that consent. Tell us if you do not wish to be recorded so we can arrange an appropriate alternative. Recording an appointment does not automatically authorize publishing it.

10. Retention and brokerage records

We distinguish ordinary inquiry records from active service, authorized content and required transaction records:

If an inquiry or communication becomes part of a real estate transaction, relevant communications and documents are retained with the brokerage and transaction file under applicable recordkeeping requirements. They are not automatically deleted under the ordinary 90-day chat schedule.

We may retain records needed for an active matter, legal obligation, claim or opt-out. Provider records, backups and publicly released copies can follow different schedules or have deletion limitations. These must be accounted for in implementation; we do not promise every connected copy disappears at the same moment.

11. Privacy requests and choices

Contact info@askanton.com with the subject Privacy request to request access, a copy, correction, deletion or help with another applicable right. Describe your request and provide the contact information you used and enough context to locate your inquiry. If needed to determine applicable rights, we may ask your state or country of residence. Do not initially email identification documents or unnecessary sensitive records.

We may need reasonable verification of identity or authority before disclosing or changing information. An authorized representative can contact us, and we may request evidence of authority. We respond within applicable legal time limits and explain relevant denials or exceptions, including any required extension notice. We do not penalize you for exercising rights protected by applicable law. Rights, portability, response periods and exceptions depend on the applicable law and processing involved.

To ask us to reconsider a response, reply to it or email info@askanton.com with the subject Privacy appeal, identifying the request and your concern. We will review the request and provide the outcome and any further complaint information required by applicable law. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator or state attorney general.

Required transaction files, legal holds and limited suppression information may need to be retained. We will explain relevant limitations as appropriate. Your Privacy Choices provides instructions for advertising opt-outs, communications, future public content uses and recording choices. Newsletter unsubscribe and browser Cookie Settings are separate controls; changing one does not automatically change every other choice.

12. Security and processing locations

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and service, including limiting access to authorized people and providers who need it. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

Report a suspected security issue to info@askanton.com with the subject Security concern. Describe the affected page or feature without including passwords, access tokens or other people's private records. Ask for an appropriate channel before sending sensitive evidence.

Depending on the service and provider used, information may be processed or stored in the United States and other countries where those providers or their service partners operate. Applicable laws and government-access rules may differ from those in your location. We do not promise that all processing stays on our local equipment or in one country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer, we use the required measures; this statement does not replace any required notice or permission.

13. Children and sensitive information

Our services are intended for adults seeking real estate information and assistance and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact info@askanton.com so we can review and appropriately address it.

We do not ask visitors to provide medical records or diagnoses in public chat. Housing questions can involve accessibility needs or other sensitive circumstances; describe the housing feature or assistance needed without unnecessary personal detail where practical.

14. Other websites and changes to this policy

Some guides include an embedded YouTube video player that loads automatically without autoplay. The player uses youtube-nocookie.com, and the browser may defer loading until the player approaches the viewport. Your browser can connect to YouTube/Google before you press Play. Google can receive your IP address, browser information and playback activity and may use storage under its own policies. Privacy-enhanced mode is not a promise of zero tracking. Review Google’s Privacy Policy for its practices.

Links and introductions may lead to businesses that operate independently. Review their privacy notices before providing information directly to them. Our use of a provider to operate an AskAnton feature does not, by itself, remove our responsibility for the handling described here.

We will update this policy when our practices change and show the applicable update/effective date. We will provide additional notice or seek consent where required rather than treating continued browsing as permission for every new use.
